电影简介:

三个人到中年的女儿为了筹划母亲的生日派对聚集到一起。老大是个离异独居的女人，有着强烈的家庭责任感，凡事讲求计划性；老二则是个随性不羁的摇滚歌手，破产之后寻找工作未果；老三和丈夫、儿子一同住在离母亲不远的家中。在安排派对的过程中，三姐妹享受团聚的亲情，也因性格和经历的差异产生种种矛盾。尤其是老二和妹妹的丈夫有染令妹妹痛苦不已。最后，母亲的生日派对终于如期举行，亲朋好友都来祝贺，母亲戴着年轻时最喜爱的项链，豪爽地饮酒，奔放地舞蹈。可惜的是，这种喜庆和团圆只是暂时的，母亲在自己的寿宴中永远地闭上了双眼...
